Are you using PCSX-Reloaded? I think someone posted on this problem in the past and it worked for them when they switched to ePSXe.

ive downloaded the legend of mana and everytime i get to the screen after me putting my house down.. right before the music screen and the woman sings.. 1. the song skips.... 2. if i let it play out or try to skip it by pressing a button the screen goes black like its going to load and thats it.. please help me with this.. btw.. i have a 2002 xp home edition and so far ive played final fantasy tactics and suikoden just fine with no problems.. can you help please...
