I'm going through yet another phase ...

... and I find myself writing a mock-episode of "Alvin And The Chipmunks". This one is a parody of an old Doris Day comedy: Alvin finds a video Simon made that promotes the product "Pizazz", and even includes the Chipmunks' stamp of personal approval. Alvin then sends the commercial to a company for mass-marketing of the product, unaware that "Pizazz" doesn't actually exist.

The "episode" updates the original series in these ways:

1. It's set in the 1980s, but has the values of the year 2008.
2. It follows a "viewer-appeal formula" which asks for over 5 seconds of impressive animation in each episode.
3. The script of each episode has at least one fun, education fact to give it access to a larger number of time slots reserved for "educational programming".
