Thanks for the feedback, Tarbolde. :-)

It seems some of the GUI layout changed after Windows Vista, so some tutorials aren't 100% compatible. For what functions I can replicate, none seem to function 100% unless I'm in Safe Mode. The last time I attempted such a mode, it took me ten tries to do it just one time. Ten. I'll give it a try later this week. :-/

Microsoft calls this a "problem" but says that it's "by design".(!)

Do you have ownership of the folder, and full control over it?

There's also a Hidden Administrator account that has full permissions and could assign them to your user account, but that would be a last resort.
