Actually, the TR games do seem to work in ePSXe, though I haven't tested them extensively. I don't know what format Vimm's downloads are in, but if there is a .ccd or a .cue file then run the game from that:
Launch ePSXe.exe > File > Run ISO > 'Game'.cue
In TR1 the save game crystals are black instead of the usual blue; I don't know how to fix that. For TR2 set Pete's OpenGL Driver off-screen drawing to at least "2: Standard - OK for most games" or the water will be black.

I think that's a known issue with ePSXe. I don't know if there's ever been a fix to the problem. Try PCSX-Reloaded instead. Sorry I can't be of more help.
