The 3D can be pretty glitchy in some games. If you've got the power, hit F9 to switch to the software renderer. It works much better but can be incredibly slow.
I wonder if I am only one having issues to emulate Guitar Hero 3 on PCSX2 1.2.1 I tried to after all even set all settings back to default but still the game jitters and crashes during first song and crowd rendering is all the time compleltly messed up.
