That sounds about right. It could have had more functionality but Sony limited it. The Japanese version had a GPS add-on, better camera add-on, and TV tuner add-on. There was also translator software/game. Best part of it was how good it could emulate anything up to PS1. But all in all it was total crap and looks more ridiculous the better phones get.

Doesn't sound much different from Nintendo's approach in the older days - deliberately unremarkable hardware, but compensated for by above-average programming.
