Big Nose the Caveman is a very awesome game! It has 4 islands and the levels get harder and harder as you progress through the entire game! But there is one drawback. Some levels are the same levels as before but with more enemies to make it harder. I guess the guys that made this game are too lazy to make different levels or they probably wanted to release it quickly before 1995 came. Anyway, this bad boy is worth a play if you like a challenge and don't forget to try its sequel too.

Graphics: 10
Why perfect? Because the graphics are eye-catching and they totally inspire me to make games with that kind of gfx. Although the clouds in the scrolling cloud level look ok but that is nothing compared to Super Mario Bros. 2 (J) for the FDS (Famicom Disk System) anyway, not only that but the creatures you face at the end of the levels look almost realistic.

Sound: 9
Well, I would've given it a 10 but they didn't add any sound to the rocks falling on you when you hit certain stones or when the Pterodactyls fly by to drop rocks on you in certain levels. So, it's near perfection.

Gameplay: 7
Ok, the gameplay is good I'll give it that. But when you capture the Pterodactyl in the last level of Chaos Island, the levels are not very hard for the second time around like in Super Mario Bros. so it's only good unless they make a remake of it for the Gameboy Advance where it has new features then it's perfected.

Overall: 10
Like I say, because of the gfx I rate it perfectamundo. So if you guys think you're big and bad and can beat any game, try this game I dare you. Trust me if you're a beginner then you wouldn't last a minute in the final level of Paradise Island.

I have beaten this game about 10 times and it's a very good game for those who like a challenge. I never get tired of the game, never.
