Good game, hard game, repetitive game. Like many out there. But this one might be worth your gaming palate anyway, even if you don't feel like beating it.

This one is fairly long, and though there's a password system there aren't many places to save. For a platform scroller, you can quickly get the feel that there wasn't a great deal of creative energy put into the graphics, although the smoothness and reality of the levels is all there. ("Aahh! I've crashed my dad's car on a freaky alien planet!" Wouldn't happen to me, but only because I don't have a car...) The enemies here are quite unforgiving, as is the time limit on each level--you will have to replay and use those passwords, or another less honest gaming method I call "the F7 approach." With all the cool gadgets you get, however, including jump boosts, helicopter heads, options, and the sweet lightning gun, you should make it at least to the third planet without a massive breakdown. Meltdowns, though...you'll have to avoid the fire on your own. +1 for the cool bosses that are even fun to get killed by. Just don't let the visual dryness of this game get to you, keep a light head, you probably won't lose.
