Ahh, the classics :) I always loved this game... It is the #1 mindless shooter of all time! I'm an RPG/Strategy fan, but this is still one of my favorites. The premise is simple - you're a contestant on an overly violent TV show called, obviously, Smash T.V. You pretty much just go out and shoot machine guns, rockets, and grenades at mutants and machines. It's simple, but fun!

Graphics: 7
They're not perfect, but they suffice. A lot of recolored models for new ones, but as for the genre, it's not horrible... Some of the tanks and bosses look pretty cool, too and some lasers and stuff look pretty good.

Sound: 6
Well, pretty much what you'd expect - run-of-the-mill generics shooting sounds. There are actually some pretty good voice samples, for the SNES. Other than that, the music can get repetitive, mostly what you hear is the guns and rockets and explosions. You crowd boos when you get killed, and cheers when you win, which is nice, but also repetitive...

Gameplay: 10
Here's where it all shines - blast anything and everything, and you can do it with a friend! This game never gets old, and can blow off an extra hour in 5 minutes, if you know what I mean :) It's extremely challenging when you get to the last level, and there are many different paths you can take - simple choices, but if you want to win, you have to know where you're going! It's a 10 - just plain FUN!!!

Overall: 9
Graphics and sound don't matter that much to me - they don't get on my nerves, so I can deal. What really matters is the gameplay. It's fun. Just plain fun. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Fun. A classic arcade shooter comes home :). A two person blast-fest! FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN!!!

note: It's my reccomendation, you don't have to listen, you don't have to download it. It's your call. I'd say it's well worth your time. Especially if you have a friend. You have a friend, don't you?

You are a guy on a gameshow, and the objective is to survive.

You are in an arena with an overhead view and the only aim is to blast the little guys who come at you with bats. The boss characters are well thought out and although the graphics are simple, they are very efective.

A worthy game but gets repetitive quickly.
