Need a 15-20 minute time diversion? Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers fits the bill perfectly. This game is fun and easy to beat (though on two player you can kill each other quite easily which can lead to wars between the two players)

Graphics: 8
Not bad at all for the NES, a lot of characters from the show, nice detail. Remember this was 1990 so you can't expect too much. Still, above average for the NES. **SPOILER**: Fat Cat ashes his cigar on you, that is tight as hell and pretty racy for the NES!

Sound: 8
Catchy melodies, and I love the NES incarnation of the theme song. Every tune seems to fit the level, including the title screen and boss music.

Gameplay: 9
Solid. Very tight control, and very responsive. PROTIP: Hide in a crate and let an enemy walk into you (you're invulnerable and he will die from walking into you!)

Overall: 8
Overall, a solid title. I mean, it doesn't offer much in the replayability department. But it's one you can breeze through. If you need a 15-20 minute time diversion I'd highly recommend C&D.

This game is fun but its too easy! I would suggest giving it a try like I said, if you are looking to kill some time.

This game got some bad reviews, but for some reason, I still have a soft spot for this game that, unlike Commando, exists to this day. Graphics, like a lot of Disney games, look very good, as some of the larger characters look pretty close to what the cartoon puts out (remember, this IS an NES...). The sound, I'm sorry, is very good for a Disney game. It's peppy, it fits the mood, and therefore, gets an 8. The gameplay would be lower if this weren't supposed to be a kids' game, since I beat it in about an hour... at like 9 or 10 years old. Controls are simple, but responsive and tight. Overall, this game doesn't set out to set the world on fire, but it's great for kids, and makes a quick diversion for the older crowd (and I do mean QUICK - the game is EASY).
