Tonic Trouble solely exists as a tech demo to showcase Rayman 2's engine capabilities.

Graphics: 7
Visually, it stands out from the rest. Colorful, well-designed and cute, the graphics are still a bit cheap and experimental at certain parts. Obviously the budget went into Rayman 2.

Sound: 6
Decent soundtrack, with tunes of varying genres but can get boring fast.
Sound effects are recognizable and well done.

Gameplay: 5
Gameplay feels like a prototype of Rayman 2, rough around the edges and not that satisfying to play.

Overall: 6
Tonic Trouble is an above average platformer with cute graphics and the right length but not really worth your time, there are better games.

Recommended for Rayman 2 fans.
