I had to laugh when I found this... having raging hormones, I also had to look. Raging hormones demanded so.

Graphics: 8
I wouldn't quite give it a ten, but the images were good looking for NES vixens. Programmers weren't working with much, but I liked what I saw.

Sound: 4
The sound got its point across, making me feel as if I were playing cards with some hooker in a cheap saloon sort of bar.

Gameplay: 7
For what the game was meant for, I felt it did a decent job. Though sometimes the opponents seemed to bluff a lot, simply calling it got you closer to what you were looking to see anyway. When you hit a certain cash amount, you see a picture of the girl, and she makes some amateur pornish comment. When you hit the next cash amount, she's wearing less and talks a bit more dirty.

Overall: 6
When I found this, I wanted to see something naked, and this game was the best I could do at that point. I'm not proud of it, but I figured anyone curious should have the facts. I only played against Penny, happy to see her in a see-through blouse and thong, and then played long enough to see her tear it off. I wasn't amazed, but satisfied in my 8-bit horniness.

This is great to show a friend for laughs, but there's things a lot more worth the trouble you could get in with mom finding it.

Strip poker as a video game. This could turn out to be a very titillating thing, at least for adolescents (and for the adolescent at heart). This game, however, manages to screw up just about anything this idea has going for it! The whole thing has a definite air of sleazyness to it. You get the feeling the people who made the game were horny and brainless (and not good at drawing). Of course I'm sleazy too for just looking at it. Not to mention the fact that YOU are sleazy as well. We just have to accept it, and move on to...

Graphics: 1
The graphics I suppose are the raison d'etre of this game, yet are Extremely crude. As you play you see the face of your opponent in a little rectangle. You get a smile, frown, or neutral, depending on whether you're winning... these faces are very strange; they seem almost to be different people. If you win a few hands, guess what happens? You see a scantily clad female. I guess what I'm actually complaining about is the artwork, not the graphics. The women actually seem to be ugly- the rudimentary graphics convey this quite nicely!

Sound: 1
You get a spiffy little tune that repeats over and over and over(and over). And when the cards are dealt there is a ""fffft"" noise. That's it. The little head in the rectange appears to speak at regular intervals (mouth opens and closes and eyes blink), but we hear nothing... I guess whatever she said was not important...

Gameplay: 1
To top it all off, this is a lousy poker game. The computer bets enormous amounts of money consistently for no reason, and loses. If you win a bit you get ""rewarded"" with a picture of your opponent (you pick from three, yes three, at the beginning of the game). She's pictured mouthing a sleazy come-on, wearing something skimpy. Then if you win a few more hands, you get... the same ugly picture! The little speech balloon doesn't change either. That is to say, there is absolutely no reason to play the game.

Well, I'd give 'em a ""1"". I guess the trouble is I'm comparing this to a game for the Atari ST that was about what you'd expect from a game like this, and had a much better idea of how to play poker. We kids closely guarded this particular game....

You have to play this game to believe it. You may not care though. It's kind of amazing the things people come up with. Also the game is so bad it's funny, but it's really funny because it's not trying to be funny, it's trying to be sexy, and missing the mark by a pretty wide margin. Shouldn't that make it sad, not funny? No, it's funny. What's sad is that I'm reviewing it.
