The definitive version of one of the definitive experiences of the golden age of video games.

Graphics: 10
How this game is still locked on the GameCube is a wonder. The game looks even better on the GameCube than it did on the PS1. The new first person aiming gives the game an even more cinematic feel. All the storytelling touches and stylistics flairs are there.

Sound: 10
The score and voice acting are possibly even more impactful in this version of the game. The revised translation is something that any fan of Metal Gear should hear in this lifetime. Increased audio quality allowed by the GameCube brings the audio fidelity of the experience to a new level.

Gameplay: 10
The updated controls make the game even easier to go back and play and enjoy. New game play elements add a lot of replay value to this game compared to the original. Anyone who has played and enjoyed the original should very much give this one a try and see for themselves whichever they prefer. Existing in Shadow Moses on the GameCube is a very unique and exciting feeling.

Overall: 10
The face that launched a thousand ships in regards to many storytelling and gameplay elements that will continue to haunt game developers for decades to come. Anyone at all interested in Metal Gear should experience both versions of Metal Gear Solid. The GameCube version is completely worth the replay.

Simply one of the greatest experiences on the GameCube and within video games in general. Hopefully someday we might get a Switch re-release or another update to this incredible and unique title which is trapped on old hardware and behind so much creative red tape.

This game is good. It's like MGS1, but with the mechanics of MGS2, which is good. Cutscenes very over the top, but fun.

Graphics: 8
Aged much better than MGS1 on the ps1, that's for sure. Has the graphics quality of MGS1, making Shadow Moses island look a lot more clean and modern than it probably should be, but it still looks good.

Sound: 7
Never played MGS1, people complain that the soundtrack and voice acting isn't as good in MGS:TTS, but the voice acting is good and the soundtrack isn't bad.

Gameplay: 10
The game plays well, and carry-overs from MGS2, like Hold-Ups, 1st person view and the M1 tranquilizer, as well as a few other quality of life changes make the game very comfortable.

Overall: 9
It's a good game so play it. Metal Gear Solid: The Twins Snakes for the Nintendo Gamecube starring David Hayter in the titular role of Solid Snake and Patric Zimmerman as everyone's favorite Revolver "Revolver Ocelot" "shalashaska" "revolver Ocelot" Ocelot.
