Soloman's Key, in my opinion, is by far the most difficult nes game that I have ever played. I have the original and am so pleased that now, finally, I have the ability to continue my game. The game genie codes are also a huge help. I still have not been able to finish this game but that fact still does not deter me from spending many hours enjoying this classic nes game.

Pretty basic...but -- well that's all I can say about that.

When time is running out on whatever particular level that you are on, the music gives a sort of ""Frantic"" feeling.

This rom plays exactly like the original. This game never really had the problem that most nes carts had where the game would seem to ""Bog Down"" when too many characters were on the screen, So...that is a plus.

I love this game. So challenging and at the same time satisfing.

Try the game genie codes

I think this is the quintessentially perfect game.
It's filled with secrets, traps, and fun. And frustration. I haven't beaten this one yet and I've had it for years. It simulataneously stimulates your mind and your reflexed for a lovely combination. Also, some of the levels are just demonic. The only major drawback is the fact that there is no save--the game is far too hard to not have one--and it's silly to have to go back through all of the levels over and over and over again when you've cleared them before.
Anyway, this IS the CLASSIC game for the NES. If you think you're up for it, attempt to break the seal on the gate........
