There have been games that got you interested because of their action, their series, or simply the fact that the company had their reputation. However for this game, it wasn't just reputation or a famous name brand that got this game title.

Overall not bad, but characters with low poly and even poor animations and sluggish cinematic scenes made this one a bit of a let down. Although it doesn't have the worst graphics, it's not great, especially for a PS2 game.

Sound: 8
My only real concern was how a game made in 2002 only has music from mid - late 1990's? Might have been a licensing deal or just simply all they could afford for the company's budget. There are a few funny comments as well as a lot of explicit language, which did "kinda" give the game a bit of an edgy feel, but words alone can't make this a good game. A lot of the commentary and voice overs were a bit on the style of Jackass.

Gameplay was not too bad, but yet it stole the same controls from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games. It's so obvious that it's the same moves, just on bikes.

Overall: 8
Overall it's not the worst title I played and I did enjoy myself as far as playing this game. Even though there's limited locations, there's still plenty there to keep you amused if only for a while. You can unlock bike parts, upgrade characters, and enjoy some videos, once you unlock them.

Here's something interesting. The USA and Australian Playstation2 versions were censored. However, GameCube, XBOX, and countries outside USA and Australia for PlayStation 2 were uncensored. So if you would like to play the game with all it's adult goodies, go get the European/Asian PS2 game, or the GameCube and XBOX version, and you will see it in it's fully adult glory.

This game was also going to be called "Dave Mirra's BMX XXX", but Dave Mirra did not like the overall presentation of the game and asked Acclaim to remove his name from the title. Although they did remove his name, his character is in fact still in the game, and Acclaim was sued. It was also for this reason that Acclaim went bankrupt at the time.
