A farming game for the PS2, Shepherd's Crossing is a game built around trade. You must trade animals and crops to advance.

Personally I am very fond of the graphics, it's why I ended up buying the game in the first place when it came out.

Sound: 5
Very repetitive, you'll be hearing the same sound tracks the entire game. If this doesn't bother you, it's not too bad.

Gameplay: 7
Controls are very bad for the PS2 version. Especially if you enjoy the game, you'll have some trouble picking up items and dropping them. That said, this game is very addicting. You'll find yourself working to unlock the next tier of items. If you are a dog lover there is a stable you can unlock for many different breeds, complete with hunting mini games. However I've noticed a huge difference in the PS2 and PSP versions of the game. It seems that the PSP version offers a lot more content than the PS2 version.

Overall: 7
While it's not bad on it's own, as a farming title it is definitely outclassed by Harvest Moon. However, I definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys farming and is looking for more titles to explore.

Save yourself the trouble and play the PSP version! Llamas, donkeys, cows, are examples of animals not included in the PS2 version but are included in the PSP version.
