The Wii's pretty finicky about playing games from USB so all your settings need to be in order, particularly wide-screen ones. I'm no expert but it plays fine for me with USB Loader GX 3.0 v1272.
The wii Metroid prime trilogy Does not fully work. Only the first game works the other 2 do not. I am playing off of a wii with USB Loader GX.
