As far as recommending Genesis gaming goes, games with a lower profile would be Atomic Runner, Turrican, Universal Soldier., and Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel. Alisia Dragoon would've counted as a low-profile game about ten years ago, but it's since developed a following, and it even appeared on Sega's Genesis flashback console. You might also try The Adventures of Batman and Robin if you can live with the terrible music and sound effects. My recommendation there is to Mute the game and play an old Metallica or AC/DC album.

I've been playing some of these ROMs but I feel like there are gems in here that I don't know of, and I'm not sure where to look.
