there's also the issue of updates and stuff. the switch is far too new imo to seriously pursue emulation for a while

Yeah, and since it isn't being made for Android they'd have to make it from scratch and since most phones aren't that strong, you'd be waiting at least 5-10 years as stated before for phones to even catch up.
