Xbox Emulator tips?

Anyone have any experience with Xbox emulators? I've been thinking about emulating some Original Xbox games but have no experience with any of the Xbox emulators that exist and are a bit adamant to just hop right in without any experience or insight on them, I trust the people on this board more than the rest of the internet.
