Usually all you have to do is plug any controller in, then go set the keys in the input/controller options of the emulator. It shouldn't work any differently to a DualShock.
Does Anybody know how to get a GC controller to work for ps1 emulator? i have tried on my wii and nothing works i dont understand the button mapping at all :(
also i have no way of getting a classic controller cuz i know ppl said u could use that to but no luck on that :(
