I'm flattered that you'd think I meant that, but no, I just thought multiple versions would screw a few things up but I guess randomly guessing doesn't work out all the time, huh?

Well, MAME does label which version of each game you should use, but often times, you have to download several dumps of the same game instead of one, since it doesn't include all the necessary files in one compressed archive; they're spread out through several different ZIP files, and you have to weed them all out with every arcade game. So if that's what you're saying, then yes - that is another problem with supplying MAME ROMs.
