Quite an understandable mistake. The SNES and NES is the only console that has this inconsistency. There was also an unofficial Japanese-to-English translation of the actual NES Final Fantasy III, so that makes things even more confusing.

NVM I realize now that FF III is the same and FF VI is Japanese. Sorry for the spam post XD
