.7z is a compressed file, just like .rar files and .zip files. You'll probably need software for that such as WinRAR or 7zip. I personally recommend 7zip though. Just make sure you download your chosen file compression software from the official website - I've made the mistake of not doing that before.

I am trying to use nintendont on wii. When i download the isos on here, they download as .7z. I downloaded some files from other sites that downloaded as .7z and they wouldnt work. I havent tried these files yet but I'm wondering if they will work. Also I am using a mac so I dont know if that makes a difference. Thanks
