Controller and game function issue

I'm using a Logitec F310 controller. I had no trouble until last night. On Madden NFL 2005, the menus started acting up and certain functions would no longer respond. I attempted to download the lastest Dolphin version which claimed it was corrupted, I reinstalled the stable 5.0 version and redownloaded Madden in case. I also downloaded 2004 to see if there issue carried over. It does.
