I am actually not technical enough to help you with why the dolphin emulator crashes when you load WII games. It probably has to do with your Dolphin settings or your computer.

But yeah, Dolphin emulator only plays Gamecube and WII roms. See if games other than the Sonic game you're trying to play work on Dolphin.
