A fraction of the size

System: GameCube
So, I decided to download the Gamecube rom for Simpsons Hit & Run, but it finished downloading even though it was like a fraction of it's size (around 500 kb) I deleted the file because I thought it was an unsafe style, then I reloaded the page and then pressed download again and now it's downloading it normally.
Why did this happen?
