Yes, nkit + wii partitions is huge, however it contains all the missing partitions for every wii nkit.iso [A lot of wii games share the same partitions, thus NKIT existing, it contains those common partitions that it removes when compressing]. Think of it as saving space in the longrun.

After downloading Nkit and the associated DAT files, I downloaded a Wii file in Nkit format. Since that file was missing a partition, it kept failing the ISO expansion. I understand that for missing partitions, one needs to download the FULL NKIT version which is 14GB. Yikes! Unfortunately, the WBFS version faulted as well in SHA-1 checking in WiiBackup Manager. Double Yikes! Anyone have any better way to get the ISO version?
