Sure gamulator is great but nothing is wrong with romdepot. Not sure where you get your information but in my experience, romdepot is a safe source. And for viruses, it is very rare you get a virus just from browsing any site. Use an adblocker, have common sense, and don't run any downloaded .exe file and you will be fine.
