That sounds reasonable. But I wouldn't have the slightest idea where to start searching.

I have one guess that is most likely wrong, but still worth a shot: You may have an app or something that has an in-built ad blocker or is acting finicky. I only use a free version of Malwarebytes, but I'm not sure if Norton, McAfee or anything similar have any ad-blockers. That or they could be running afoul.

Again, most likely wrong - but worth checking, no?
