Thing is they download fine but actually activating them is the problem for me. When I download them, they're saved as 7z files but 7zip doesn't want to unzip them for some reason.

Your UHD 630 is most likely the most limiting factor here. Whilst most emulators usually rely on CPU over GPU, integrated GPUs (or iGPUs) typically don't perform well with gaming, especially not on emulators.
