Forgot to mention, if you're having trouble converting from nkit to iso to wbfs, consider downloading your wii games in wbfs format directly in the future (though that might not be the best course of action if you have slow/poor internet connection.
Look at this Website: https://wii.guide/
You still have some way to go before being able to play. Click on "Start Here" and skip the things you've already done (while checking that you did them properly while you're at it).
Important sections you should look at:
- Installing CIOS
- INstalling Priiloader
- Using USB Loader GX
- Using Wii Backup Manager
If you follow the guide in order, you should be able to play your games off of USB in no time. DON'T SKIP PARAGRAPHS OR RECOMMENDED LINKS.
You might need to convert your games from nkit to iso; just use the tool found here: https://vimm.net/vault/?p=nkit (the one that includes wii partitions, if you download the small one it will most definitely not work). You might also want to convert you games from ISO to wbfs to save space; wii backup manager can do that for you automatically
A hint once you read through everything: you need to format your external hard drive where you'll store your games as fat-32, with an MBR partition table. You can google how to do this.
