Redump calculates Xbox hashes from real ISO dumps. These ISO dumps have a size of approximately 8gb (7825162240 bytes). These "real" dumps can't be played in any emulator, and have to be converted to xiso format to be played. I don't think an xiso dump can be converted to iso dump (it only works the other way around, I believe).

If you do have this ~8gb real ISO, you can calculate the hashes using Window's built-in certutil (command line), or you can use this GUI application to do so: https://www.quickhash-gui.org/

Hi. Wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I have a lot of original xbox backups, most of which are missing from the Vault. I would like to upload them but not sure how to check the redump stats (hash) to make sure they are acceptable. Any guidance?
