I only just discovered there was a forum for PCSX2 users. AND that the "Aquatos" problem in Ratchet And Clank; Up Your Arsenal wasn't just because of my dinky little computer! It turns out, you can go to a setting and "hack" the problem away. This thread is closed, but it should still help;

Not only did this help with the Ratchet and Clank problem, but I'd also commented that NONE of the four PS2 James Bond games worked for me... having used this setting, they all work now!
