Re: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Trilogy (PS3)

Thanks for your suggestion. After adjusting the windows 10 settings I was able to see the .Thumbs.db files, so Vimms copy is a-ok.

The problem is during the creation of the .iso these files get omitted for some reason. Im presuming that the ISO tools program cant process/access these files for some reason.

I tried running it with administrator privileges but it made no difference.

I guess I'll have to try running it in its original folder type format.

Ok, it's a problem with Windows, but I don't know if it's on your side or on Vimm's side. By default, Windows will hide Thumb.db files since it thinks they are system files.

See if doing this makes them appear in your files: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/file-explorer-does-not-show-thumbdb-files-even/f1a50c4c-3408-4f31-9e82-8d61cd730227. (I hope you have the original download .7z file and/or folder).

I think these files will also be hidden to any program that tries to access them: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/13215200/how-to-show-the-hidden-files-and-hide-the-shown-files-with-ls. Maybe forcing these files to not be hidden in the OS will allow you to build an ISO with them (try building an ISO afterwards).

Hope this helps!
