Duckstation keyboard won't bind

Shift, Enter, mouse, and number keys get binded properly, But the other keys, such as the letter keys ( S,Z,X,C,A,D,Q,E ), will not.
This has worked for me properly previously, but for some reason It won't work now.
I'm playing Dino crisis 2 If this is a special case that's related to the game.
