Currently yes. Outside of wanting to collect 1:1 images, I cannot think of an application that wbfs cannot be used for. Both dolphin and official hardware (using a usb loader) support playing games in wbfs. If you absolutely must use a 1:1 iso, you could try to use a program such as wii ultimate unscrubber (https://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-ultimate-unscrubber.452110/) to regenerate the removed data. NKit *may* be able to do this as well, but don't quote me on that.
Is EVERY Wii Game Is the .wbfs Files and there's no Iso files?
