Ocarina of time Controls not working

Just emulated ocarina of time and I was playing in the deku tree. I unlocked the slingshot but I dont know how to equip it. I also dont know the controls for the buttons at the top right of the screen. for the left button, down button, right button, and up button for when you talk to navi. I dont know what keys it is to use those buttons. Could someone tell me the controls for the arrow buttons and the controls for equipping the slingshot in your inventory so I know I can play the game more? Please anwser these 2 questions lol cause im stuck
