Convert Wbfs, Ciso and Nkit.iso

Posted by InterrDylan on .
Wbfs and Ciso are both lossy formats. You should consider converting to dolphin's RVZ format. Ill give a couple of reasons why its just better.

1. RVZ can compress as much as WBFS, CISO and NKIT.ISO. So it wouldn't require any more storage. (Sometimes even more, Punchout EU version form 3,68 to 2,97)
2. At this time you provide both CISO and NKIT.ISO files for Gamecube games. A massive doubling of the space used. If you use RVZ you only need to host one version and for people who wish to play on real consoles can just easily convert their games to the iso format with dolphin's simple gui.
3. It's truly lossless so great for data preservation!
See for Gamecube you got NKIT.ISO so you just convert that and bam you got your data back but you didn't do that for the Wii so all these games aren't fully preserved on your website.
5. It isn't any slower to convert since you can just go in dolphin's gui, shift click all the games in the list and then right click to batch convert.

I hope you consider my request, if you find re-requesting fully complete Wii discs to time consuming at least consider converting the Gamecube games, you already got the Nkit.iso's so it would just save you alot of space.
