Which is sad... thinking more from a perspective of preservation than entertainment/having fun with those games tbh. Might try the MAME thing (was aware about the txt/string stuff before posting it here but still wanted to try) to check if I can rip the graphics of some games. Anyway, thanks!

Nope, just a little bit of prep work on MAME, AFAIK. Not a huge amount of interest for that particular console, I'm afraid.
