Counterpoint:  All games should come with copyrighted intense lashings.  With every lash, the purchaser receives a lawsuit.

Nobody would buy crap games after implementing this change, so only good game developers would survive.

This is how we can save lashes.

Counterpoint: All products should be copyrighted. Only one company should be legally allowed to sell bananas, only one company should be legally allowed to sell breakfast sandwiches, only one company should be legally allowed to sell bedside tables, etc.

If you make a bedside table yourself, you should be fined or imprisoned for violating the copyright of Bedside Tables Inc.

It's your own fault, really. Do you want Bedside Tables Inc. to go unpaid for all their hard work owning the rights to bedside tables? You're basically enslaving and coercing their workers by not paying them whatever price they ask for their tables!
