I wouldn't call the game a bootleg literally when it was originally designed by Nintendo! and while Mesen does run nearly all the Nes games without issues, irionically it crashes when I used the sprite ripping features. :(
I guess porting the original to Nes cart form would be the only way if we can't convert this one, terrible shame.
It is a bootleg FDS conversion. The NES vault doesn't include FDS ROMs, only cartridge Famicom/NES ROMs.
The reason I was asking which emulator you were using is that there are emulators that will run this particular ROM. Mesen runs it without issue, which makes sense as Mesen is the most accurate NES emulator out there at the moment.
