They're numbers printed on the disc. They don't always mark major revisions and there is no consistent pattern used from game to game. You'll just have to look online to see if anyone has cataloged the differences, or investigate yourself.

I want to download Sakura Wars and Puyo Sun but the Ms and numbers confused me! which one is earlier version? Im trying to get 1.0
