Re: Since when was the copyright restrictions lift

Copyright restrictions were not lifted, game-legacy-hating companies like Nintendo that will track down pirated games that they don't sell anymore and requrest their removal. Most companies do not even care about the existence of this site. If you download anything from here and SOMEHOW get into trouble, your defence could be personal use or making a backup of a physical copy. Microsoft is too busy making spyware to care about Halo being on here. I have the same mindset as Technut - save whatever you want from here, preferably anything, in case Vimm gets closed down for some reason.

Ok, everyone who knows about this website for more than 6 months knows it was purged of a few copyright games. (by purged i mean not available to download). But how long has this been away, and how did it get lifted?
