Sorry for the belated response. I've been unable to start SNES9x - the latest version - under any conditions. Try v1.41 - it seems to work better.

I cannot get this to work on windows 7 can anyone help? It keeps telling me "error the file Valid.ext could not be found or made". Is there anyway that I can fix this? I really don't want to have to relearn another emulator.
