I try to only keep active emulators in the Vault since they'll improve over time and eventually surpass a discontinued emulator. Since FCE Ultra hasn't been updated since 2004 and the author stated back then he wouldn't make any further releases, it's pretty safe to say it's discontinued.
I don't understand why the FCE Ultra emulator has been removed from the site, as it is my emulator of choice; very easy to use and modify, plus you can save as often as you want and switch between PAL and NTSC modes. I don't want others to miss out on its possibilities.
