Thank you for the offer cb49, but I should be able to rename them quickly enough, was trying to see if I could shave off an extra 3-5 seconds per rename w/o downloading a new program (not a big deal).

The real issue is my slow scanner, takes about a minute per each scan-to-computer, so if Vimm's manual archival project is purely academic (doesn't get all that many hits) I was thinking of waiting until I had a quicker scanner to contribute.

If you need it, I can make a quick script to auto batch rename them for you.
