Yes. But you don't want to afford it. Check out Write Once Read Many devices (WORM) for document archiving or Magneto Optical (MO) discs.
If you don't like that answer i'm sorry but your question is too general. How do you understand "long term"? What type of reliability are you talking about? High load webserver storage or save and never use again? For home use you can use any different manufacturer HDD to build a ZFS array. ZFS is the best reliable error correcting filesystem you can get for free at the moment. But use with EEC RAM is recommended.
