The first guy has never had the game, unfortunately. They made a DIY replica hanafuda deck, but they learned about it through this Instagram post (see the comments):

Sorry, dude, I tried my best. All I could find are some Japanese auctions of someone selling it. The auction is closed but it was from December of last year, so that seems promising
I also came across a site that had a list of games that haven't been dumped ever (can't find the link now) and The Hanafuda was on it, but I think the company name may have been different
There's a few tweets I've come across where people are talking about it. Maybe try contacting this person?
