Not sure what you guys are doing wrong here but I just downloaded the Mario Kart Wii.nkit and it's working perfectly for me
What version of Dolphin are you using? Maybe try updating it or even completely deleting the version you're using and get the newest one

It's happening with me too. Plus it always gives me error 503.
